I would like to share the story of how Vancouver House Finders supported my family to sell our home and buy a new one - in a market which I did not understand. They did an amazing job and I would recommend them to anyone. It started with a visit to our house, a full understanding of our interests, and a grounding of our expectations based on the market conditions. They assisted in getting our place ready for sale; they even recommended minor improvements to make, or where to let go and allow the home to sell as is. Included in their service rate was cleaning and staging for sale. They worked vigorously to find qualified buyers and helped use navigate offers. They followed a team approach to selling with a single point of contact for any questions I had. They held back on offering unsolicited advice, but when requested, they were clear and supportive in giving their opinions. All while selling, they had another person as a single point of contact for the "buy side" helping us narrow down our goals and interests to find the right home. They knew our budget, respected it, and often directed us away from the top of our limit. On the buy side, they spent a lot of time helping us understand the market, the neighborhoods and also the specific homes. Again, same professional approach - they would offer advice and guidance only if asked, and were always supportive. From time to time they redirected us when my goals seemed distinct from that of my partner. During the sell & buy, they answered questions at all hours of the night and were highly available. when it came to offering on properties, they attended home inspections, asked good questions, and helped us through each process. When we finally did bid and win on a house, it was the best scenario, a wonderful home in a great neighborhood and close to schools. We planned our offer strategy, followed it carefully, and at the last minute adapted based on new information. We got the home we really wanted at a price we were proud to pay. This process was at times energized and at others carefree. It was always highly interactive and supportive - thank you Hani, Fredrick and the rest of the team at Vancouver House Finders.

We were concerned at first about the prospect of switching realtors midway through our search, but Fred may well be the friendliest person I've ever had the pleasure of working with. He brought enthusiasm and calm to the entire process, which as a first time homebuyer, I can not overstate the benefit of. Every question had an answer, every disaster had a solution, and we always felt he was offering his honest opinion any time a question arose. Fred's help continued long after the deal closed, going so far as to help us sort out a number of minor issues with the place afterward including keys that were never delivered by the previous owner, and working with the strata to sort out some other nitpicky things on the way in. Our experience with this team was very positive and while I don't have any other experience to compare it to, I'm not sure I can think of a way the job could have been done better.
